Simulators
Trotter Controls has developed several Windows-based simulators for use on computers over the years. These virtual simulators include the FRDS GEN II and GEN III installed on Air Tractor’s AT-802F, as well as 10 Tankers DC10 firegate.
Gen III PC Simulator
The Windows-based simulator has been developed to provide an easy to use comprehensive platform for pilot training and familiarization with GEN III FRDS fire-fighting systems. The Windows-based simulator provides realistic simulation of the FRDS GEN III system operation and various failure conditions on the AT-802F. It also includes a “resource library” that provides easy access to the GEN III support documentation, training videos, action videos, websites, etc.
GEN II PC Simulator
This Windows-based simulator allows pilots to operate a virtual FRDS GEN II firegate installed on a AT-802F on a PC. This is great training for new SEAT pilots and is just downright FUN. The simulator is a free download.
10T PC Simulator
The Windows-based simulator has been developed to provide an easy to use comprehensive platform for pilot training and familiarization with 10 Tanker fire-fighting systems. The virtual simulator provides realistic simulation of the system operation and various failure conditions on the DC-10. To access the 10T PC Simulator, you will need permission from the company and a provided password.
