PIC Microcontroller

The PIC Microcontroller & Power Supply board is a programmable microcontroller with 2 independent DC to DC converters, on board regulation, and optically isolated I/O.

Features

MICROCONTROLLER BOARD

  • Based on popular MICROCHIP PIC16F876A

  • PIC and Optos socketed for easy replacement

  • 8 optically isolated inputs

  • 5 optically isolated Outputs

  • 2 relay outputs

  • 1 PWM/Analog out

  • 1 PWM out

  • 2 Analog in

  • 2 un-isolated I/O

  • On board crystal oscillator

  • On board reset button

  • On board programming port

POWER SUPPLY BOARD

  • Single supply source with fuse.

  • 2 independent, output isolated DC to DC converters.

  • DC to DC converters are based ON Aimtec AM6T series.

  • 6W of 5V power(1.2 Amp)for controller and external I/O

  • 6W of 7.2V power(.83 amp)for other I/O or devices

  • 1, TO220 based regulator for standard

  • Full EMI/RF filtering on input and output

PCB

  • Small size, 2.1 by 5.75 inch

  • Controller and supply can be split into separate PCB’s

  • Simple 1:1 jumpers for 1 piece operation

  • 4 layer design with internal busses and ground shields

  • I/O points on standard .1 inch header

  • 10, 6-32 mounting pads for flexible mounting options
