Fire Retardant Dispersal System – Gen 2

The Air Tractor AT-802F and the Fire Retardant Dispersal System (FRDS) have grown up together. Proven to be a formidable firefighting system since its introduction in 1993, the AT-802F aircraft and the Generation II FRDS are now set to move single engine air tanker firefighting into a new era of improved control, reliability and overall effectiveness.

Laser Soldering Workcell

This workcell started life as our Dual Robotic Workcell and would be stripped of its guarding, one robot and converted to a laser soldering cell. As a result of the added laser, custom light tight guarding was designed and installed. This cell went into a 24/7 production line and has been working reliably since.

3D Rendering for Howell Instruments

Contracted by Howell Instruments to create a 3D rendering of a Dyno Room for use in a proposal. The old cliche holds true, a picture is worth a thousand words; 3D renderings of ideas and designs not yet brought into the tangible world can add serious value to presentations and proposals.

Fire Retardant Dispersal System – Gen 1

The Fire Retardant Dispersal System (FRDS) was designed by Victor Trotter while at the now defunct Spectra Technologies in 1991 to go on the Air Tractor 802 aircraft to fill a fire fighting roll. The system was, and still is, the leader in the field, allowing retardant delivery at unsurpassed precision levels.

Summer in Spain

Summer of 2006 Trotter Controls was asked by Air Tractor to perform multiple upgrades and general maintenance to the first generation Fire Retardant Dispersal Systems (FRDS) on more than 40 aircraft scattered around Spain.
